Continuing Yoga Education Programme Requirements
Universal Yoga Alliance conducts assessment and offers certificates to Certified Yoga Teacher under various levels/ category. The certificates offered by the UYA are initially valid for 1 years for CYT 200hr and for all other Standards,The certified Yoga Teachers is required to get renewal of licensed before its expiry.
CE Requirements
The marks for assessment for renewal shall be in 3 parts:
- Attending CE Provider registered with UYA 50 hours
- Persons trained/ field experience 25 hours
- Demonstration / Written Test 25 hours
Virtual CE
- Attending CE Provider registered with UYA 30 hours
- Persons trained/ field experience 45 hours
- Demonstration / Written Test 25 hours
The certificate of the certified Yoga Teachers who has not attended the UYA CEP will lose its validity after the validity period.
The candidates shall be sent renewal notice through telephonic message/ email at least 6 months prior to expiry of certificate validity period. The certified yoga Teachers shall apply for CEP along with the prescribed within 3 months prior to expiry of certificate validity period.
The schedule for CEP shall be available on UYA website. The candidate shall have to select preferred venue for attending CE Program or the virtual mode for attending the CE Program.
